This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Excellent post and analogy, Gerry. I had actually thought it was a frog carrying the
scorpion but an internet search shows both animals are used. I understand your choice.
The fox is less sympathetic than the frog and he SHOULD be crafty enough to know 
whom he is ferrying.

Likewise, anyone here who ventures into a debate with you has had ample history to 
know what they are getting into. You will never give in and you will always have the
last word. In one version of the story:
