This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. You could do worse than to start at the beginning. _Snow Crash_ is a
very funny book, if you can deal with the kind of humor that names a
book's main character "Hiro Protagonist." Others really like _The
Diamond Age_, but it didn't do much for me. I recommend going to the
recent _Anathem_, a dark alternate-world novel.
