This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

It?s a diagram, not an image. Anyway, the beginning of the universe would look the same as in any Big Bang model, i.e, very hot and dense: hot in the sense of 10 with a lot of zeroes hot. Of course we can still see something close to the beginning of the universe now, but due to what is usually interpreted as the expansion of space, the temperature we measure is only about 3 degrees Kelvin, and it looks like microwaves. The blue filled circle in the left of the image is supposed to show how the temperature of the microwaves varies slightly as we look in different directions. We don?t see any light coming directly from before the time the universe fell to a temperature of a few thousand degrees, though. The image describes an accelerated inflation scenario, in which the universe expands forever, more and more rapidly.
