This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. The real expression is "Forewarned is forearmed."? "Forearmed"  means "armed in advance" and is hardly ever used outside this proverb.?? I was making a joke--a man with four arms is worth two men, as in the Portuguese proverb.? (This leads us to Marc's ideas about the doubling of limbs on Blue and Green.)
