This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

It may not be that universal a flood--there are clearly islands and survivors. In fact, I would guess it's returning coastlines to where they are in our day--massive icecaps formed by Old Sun melting back to good old 20th century icecaps level (okay, maybe 20th century + serious global warmi= ng level, but you get the picture). How close is Nessus to the coast? (I think this list is active because every now and then it starts random sp= urts of activity, while Whorl is dead because we're all hypothesized out. We re= ally don't know enough yet to start in on OBW's mysteries--imagine how silly muc= h of our speculation would have looked if we'd started in on SHADOW when only it was published...)
