Claw = Fang?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. It occurred to me that the Claw as a physical artifact bears some resemblance to a fang - I'm thinking specifically of a serpent's fang. Which naturally suggests the depiction of Satan as a serpent, the Garden of Eden etc ... as far as I can see this doesn't really fit into the theology/symbology of the BotNS but it's curious if you think about it - has anyone else pursued this line?
