Inhumi secret

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

(urg..but I just...can't...do....that) We should bear in mind, though, that the Rajan himself is very doubtful about whether the secret is really useful. "If you will, it is a great and terrible weapon. That is how the inhumi themselves see it, and I will not call them wrong. But it is a weapon too heavy for our hands." This does of course raise the question why the inhumi themselves feel threatened by it. Did they ever meet a people who were able to use it? Certainly not the Neighbours, who were also overwhelmed by them.
