This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. With regard to the question of how satisfactory Sev's
career in the Age of the Monarch is as the basis for
the legend of the Conciliator: one mustn't forget
Canog's role as propagandist. His BOTNS, based on
Sev's account of the future given in prison, might be
a very skilful work of prophetic literature--as
persuasive as the Gospels have been, perhaps. By this
means, a few random miracles could acquire great
resonance--a comment by Wolfe on the power of the
written word, which records, and supersedes by
outlasting, mere actions.
