Lewis and "Westwind"

Jesse C. Polhemus · 17 Mar 2013, 17:13 · from 2013-March.txt.gz

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

The connection between Lewis and "Westwind" may have already been pointed out, and I apologize, but MERE CHRISTIANITY (Macmillan paperback, 1977) fell open to page 51 this morning:

"Christianity is the story of how the rightful king has landed, you might say landed in disguise, and is calling us to all to take part in a great campaign of sabotage. ?When you go to church you are really listening-in to the secret wireless from our friends: that is why the enemy is so anxious to prevent us from going."
