This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. Also, the shadow children vomit their "wives" when they are "white" - the maggots that grow from the pink egg seeds in the leaves ( compare with the street of maggots  in fifth head's opening story) 

Reproduction has really stagnated and transformed on these two planets.
