This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Creeping winter is a little more prosaic as an end-of-days scenario, but avoids gigadeath. The only people (hypothetically) complaining about Ragnarok are the hieros. The hieros are just teleologically ensuring their own survival, attempting to make the snake bite its tail. They don't even know if the humanity of Urth are the ones who will eventually become themselves, but are willing to drown most of them on the off-chance. With scruples like that, who wants to be semi-divine?
