This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Thanks, Dan'l. Very informative. It would appear Wolfe chose well for the 
name Brook Madregot. It would appear to serve no purpose except as a conduit.
Tinkerbell Tzadkiel there is very helpful to Severian, but her lingering
laughter as Severian departs always makes me feel a bit suspicious.

Hm, yes. Severian's wanton abuse of Brook Madregot lands him in the time of
Apu Punchau, and a lifestyle quite lacking in grace and refinement.
