This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Am I confusing the ship with the Hyperion Cantos, or is there a sense of the Yggdrasil world tree as a ship?? does that story at all come into reference in Urth of the New Sun?? Been a while since I looked over the ship part.? When Lif and Lifthrasi come to Ragnarok, only they will survive by hiding inside the branches of Yggdrasil.
