This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Mostly about things that I think are not working.

1) that whole "suicide club" thing---did it come out of nowhere in a
confusing way, or was it properly (or even with Wolfean "I'm only telling
you once) set up? And I imagine there is a very clever way it "fits" with
the world he's building here, but I'm afraid I'll need a clever commenter
to spell it out for me.

2) Wow, was the search for "Jerry's room" drawn out unnecessarily, or so it
so far seems.

I'm just up to the scene when Skip and co. finally reach it and shots ring
out.
