This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Along similar lines, I wish to write to Mr Wolfe in order to express my
gratitude as well as to share a couple of (short) things I've written in
tribute to him. I was thinking of physically mailing to him by way of the
Virginia Kidd Agency.

-- Is this the best way to go about it and, as I've never done something
like this before, is there anything I should know further about how to
address or package it?
