This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. If someone on the list everyone feels comfortable with starts a campaign on
a crowdfunding site (or just a dedicated PayPal account) it would be pretty
easy to donate to it.  Then the final amount can be donated to the charity.
