This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Message-ID: <CALL5m5bu4G=S5uPgDUUBNtv2iQzfQGH-B=JH0sbi414UMJ3aUw at mail.gmail.com> Hello people of Urth, Some time ago I tried to read the Long Sun in polish, but on first pages I saw that the translator, translated name :Patera Silk to Patera Jedwab (Jedwab is Silk in polish) I was outraged! I hate so much when this happens, fortunately it's not that common. But I was surprised that this crime was commited by a guy who did an excellent job translating new sun. My question: what do you think? Can translating Silk's name can be somehow justified (I'm not yet familiar with long sun) ? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
