Digest urth.v028.n137

Jonathan Laidlow · 25 Jan 2000, 09:22 · from urth-v0028.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Living in dear old blighty I'd second the suggestion of Liverpool, but=20
I think its unlikely. There are several US libraries which hold major=20
SF deposits but I don't have the list to hand. Does anyone know=20
what Wolfe does with his manuscripts, and whether he'd be willing=20
to deposit them?
