This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Indeed, I was directing traffic to the history of Godel and Hilbert, so 
more effort could be devoted to being more informed and less to blather.

x messages a day is a problem, in that if it can accumulated it ceases 
to be a meaningful limitation; if it cannot, it lets the vocal minority 
be shouted down by the vocal majority. It also retards earnest 
conversations where one poster might need to answer more than x amicable 
posts in a day rather than refute x adversarial ones.
