This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. I wrote that, not Rick. On the contrary, I am saying that art transcends 
the flaws of history, because the cave paintings implicitly record 
things about people who did not yet have the ability to record explicit, 
written history.

I recall now that you apparently use some crap misconfigured e-mail 
program that doesn't properly quote and attribute forcing you to do it 
by flawed hand and flawed memory, and I think your poor technology 
experience in general may be coloring your attitudes about all human 
product.
