This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. He has made such an analogy at least one other time, in "To the Seventh", which also contains this interesting passage that has a whiff of recent topics: "Outside its sides that were not sidesthe universe was a point of matter vastly heavy, and a vastness beyond the reach of mathematicsin which matter was so rare that it could truthfully said not to exist." (*Strange Travelers*, Torpaperback, pg. 132).
