This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

The transformation of Morcaine's face into her brother also reduces them into a "sibling" character, though it only seems to make thematic rather than surface plot sense.
"[Morcaine's] face became that of her brother, I cannot say how. I was not conscious of having turned, yet it was to him I spoke." 
I think GW is giving us a glimpse here of Morcaine's sorcery. She "intercepted" the communication meant for her brother. How much of that Arnthor knows about we don't know. Classic Wolfe. FW.
