This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Just a bit more on the TD Tarot, this also from my essay:

planets of this world. They also=E2=80=94this is clever=E2=80=94represent t=
he figures in
Crowley=E2=80=99s planetwide folk religion in which Seven Strengths (we call
them Virtues) eternally battle Seven Possessions (Deadly Sins) for the
hearts and souls of men. Five of these are identical to our own; he has
somewhat changed the other two. I call it clever because the Seven
Deadly Sins turned up everywhere, figuratively and literally, in the
fifteenth century; they=E2=80=99re indelibly associated with the period.
