This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

The plan is to set-up a scholarly journal dedicated to studies of the=20 work of GW, and we for the launch edition we will have Dr Nick's=20 two fine pieces on LS, Jeremy Crampton's piece on the Soldier=20 novels, and hopefully two reprints of Jeremy's exegesis of the=20 Soldier novels from his 'Book of Gold' journal. We will also have=20 reviews of the recent GW novels and collections. The site which was listed on Whorl on Friday was the URL for a=20 dummy website which I am using to check design/links/html, and as=20 it wasn't intended for public consumption just yet (patience! it just=20 wasn't ready) I've taken it down. If there is sufficient demand I can=20 put Dr Nick's LS pieces up for interested readers, but I'd prefer to=20 wait until we launch at the beginning of June so that everything has=20 gone through the editorial process. The journal will be accepting submissions for a second edition, and=20 further details will be available at that time. The intention is to=20 complement the Urth and Whorl lists by providing a forum for more=20 detailed and lengthy considerations of the work of GW. I am currently grappling with the distinction between .htm and .html=20 files, and am looking for a friendly soul capable of producing a logo=20 graphic or a cover page. if anyone has the time to help I'd be=20 extremely grateful. If anyone has an advance copy of 'On Green's Jungles' and has the=20 time to write a review for the launch, please get in touch for further=20 details.
