The Devil in a Forest

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Hi all,

    It's been a very, very long time since I've posted anything on here. I=20
haven't even been reading it as much as I probably should so maybe this was=20
discussed in my absence, but I'll ask anyway. Has anyone read The Devil in=
 a=20
Forest? What were your thoughts on it? I just finished reading it and=20
looking back over it, it seems very simple compared to Wolfe's other works.=
 =20
Was it one of Wolfe's earlier novels? Just wondering if anyone has any=20
thoughts on it.

-Steve
