This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. I bought the anthology _Such a Pretty Face_ (edited by Lee=20
Martindale, available in both hardcover and paperback from=20
Meisha Merlin Publishing) the other day, for the Wolfe story=20
"The Fat Magician" that it contains.  The story, which features=20
Sam Cooper, Wolfe's folklorist character, has an introductory=20
note that refers to three other Sam Cooper stories.  The first=20
two--"The Nebraskan and the Nereid" and "Lord of the=20
Land"--I'm familiar with, but the third--"The Eleventh City"--
I hadn't heard of before and was unable to find despite a=20
search of both my collection and _Locus_ magazine's on-line=20
Indices to Science Fiction.

Does anyone know whether "The Eleventh City" has yet been=20
published, and, if so, where?  If it's scheduled for publication=20
later this year, when and where will it appear?
