This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I assumed that was the case from his poetic descriptions of engineering concepts, but given Dorcas and her flowers, and a hundred other examples, he seems to know his plant matter as well. -----Original Message----- From: Kevin J. One of Wolfe's PE articles--a vocabulary for robotics--is reprinted in his Boskone book, _Plan[e]t Engineering_; his background shows through in things like the lecture about tallus design in _Exodus from the Long Sun_.=20 _Plant Engineering Magazine_'s home page is at=20 <http://www.manufacturing.net/magazine/planteng/>.=20 --=20 Wombat, a.k.a.
