Digest urth.v030.n049

Redhaven1 · 03 Jan 2001, 18:23 · from urth-v0030.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

(This might be considered a spoiler for PEACE)

Thanks for all the advice, but it's too late. I finished PEACE last night=20
and enjoyed it. I don't think there was any danger of it turning my away=20
from Wolfe, having already been hooked on all the SUN books. I did like it=20
very much, but am reviewing past discussions on the list to find all the=20
things I missed (which were, of course, a lot. . .). I will say this thoug=
h,=20
I realized Weer was dead on my first time through.
