Black beans

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Well, not Erebus and co, for a start. Freezing the only element that can
support you into a solid block of ice isn't much of a long-term
strategy. Neither is annihilating the world you want to enslave. In any
case, we're specifically told in UOTNS that by bringing the white
fountain Severian has helped his enemies.

If there's anything in the books to suggest that anyone is responsible
for actually putting the black hole in the sun, I'm not aware of it. I
have to say it would considerably weaken the whole premise of the books
if there were.
