This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

This doesn't ring a bell with me, and I've read=20
Borges' collected stories (though it could have=20
just slipped my mind).  The closest thing to it I can=20
think of is a story Borges took from Swedenborg=20
(it appeared in The Universal History of Infamy=20
and in the Borges co-edited Book of Fantasy, iirc),=20
which I'd mentioned on this list before.  But in that=20
story the dead man is in hell, not heaven.
