This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Oh, one more thing!

This isn't a New Sun tie-in.

The love interest in TPM is tortured off-stage (by a fellow who likes pain
himself and likes to inflict it, too).  As a result of mutilation, her arms
are later removed.  This is so weird and nightmare-dreamy, and I wondered
at it for a while before I suddenly thought of Venus de Milo.

Which is still weird, but at least it has a handle of sorts.
