This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Uh, I thought I said that .......      No, we are only arguing about the
words here.

The central point of this story is the need to build an actual moral
community, a nation, to fight a war (or indeed to do anything else).

The Corporates are what is left when parasites and carpetbaggers have eaten
the old living Republic from the inside.  They have no moral relationship
with each other at all.

The revolutionaries are a strange new growth, springing out of the corpse,
poisonous but alive.
