neighbors

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Steve commented that the appearance of the neighbors was before the pit. T=
his=20
is incorrect. There are neighborly artifacts and holy places before that, =
but=20
in the pit is the first time he meets the neighbors. They are created from=20
his hybridized genes. All of these powers Horn gets after this are a resul=
t=20
of sharing tree DNA. He was eaten there. And born again with new powers. =20
And the neighbor he meets identifies himself as "Horn" and He Pen Ship call=
s=20
Horn a neighbor. I've already commented on all of those features and his=20
powers in previous posts in the last archive if you want to review them. T=

Pit is where it all happens, (and under a tree at the end of OBW). Notice=20
that the island is completely composed of huge trees, as Horn realizes late=
r. =20
I won't repeat myself again; you are all familiar with my theories by now. =
 If=20
you want to find a more detailed explanation, just follow my threads throug=

the last archive.
