More on "Hour of Trust"

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I am glad someone else mentioned this passage from the interview. I=20
found it to be a rather petulant and unnecessary outburst and quite=20
unfair to all of us who are just trying to figure out what's going on=20
in some of Wolfe's stories.

(I should go on to say that Mr. Wolfe is certainly entitled to the=20
occasional petulant outburst, especially at his age, and also that I=20
have a lot of nerve criticizing him for this, since, if you look at=20
the archives of this forum, you will see that I have posted more than=20
my share of petulant outbursts here.)
