This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

When I reread the series after a couple of years, I was amazed at the=20
"obvious" details I had overlooked the first time around.  Wolfe=20
mentions somewhere that good literature rewards repeated reading, which=20=

seems to stand in tension with his statement about half-stoned readers=20=

distracted by television.

So, I wouldn't worry about waiting, ruminating, and returning to the=20
series when you do have time--which is what it sounds like you're=20
planning.
