This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. I put this up on my Wolfe News Blog too, but I thought I'd mention it
here. The hierodules are the aliens in the New Sun series, but I also
discovered that "hierodula" is the latin genus name for the praying
mantis. The hierodules are described as having compound eyes and big
mandibles when they get unmasked.
