not so sure about this...

maa32 · 18 Mar 2002, 07:04 · from urth-v0203.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

all I can say is that Nick did not ask specifically if Urth was Blue; he as=

if St. Croix and St. Anne fit in thematically. Wolfe claims he does not kno=

if he is using mythic patterns in that quote, not that he doesn't know whet=

might be related ... I see the exact opposite of how you interpret that ...=20
but I think Gene knows whether Urth is Blue or not. I'm sure he does. He=20
just won't say for sure because, (I quote him) "it would spoil your fun". H=

Remember how he keeps claiming that the primary inspiration behind Severia=

the interview: the godlings have sonar, don't forget. Pig claims he can "he=
