Uncollected Wolfe

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Perhaps my least favorite bit from Mr. Gevers's excellent interview with
Wolfe was when he said he didn't see a new short story collection on the
horizon (although perhaps that's just Wolfe's usual modesty - note his
claim that Wizard Knight might not sell--as if!). =20

There's an awful lot of uncollected short stories out there, so I was
wondering if those of you who have tracked them down might suggest which
are the most worth chasing. What are some of the best Wolfe stories not
found in the common anthologies (e.g., the ones I have):

Endangered Species
Island of Doctor Death and Other Stories and Other Stories
Strange Travelers
Stories from the Old Hotel
Castle of Days

and where can they be found?
