This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I agree.  Wasn't Wolfe already being hailed as a genius for 5HC before
people had even read any of the New Sun books?

I mostly agree with this.  One of the main reasons I dislike the Urth=3DBlue
theory is that I prefer to think of the double planets more as a
reoccuring theme than a literal correspondence.

But I also note that lumping Urth/Lune in with the others is a bit out of
place.  While in the other two pairs, both planets are important settings
for the story, in the New Sun books, Lune is hardly more prominent than
Verthandi or Skuld.
