This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I was just introduced to this author I know little
about... now he is best known for an unusual "mystery"
series he just finished...
he began, among other things, with moorcock at new
worlds..

Also (here is the ontopic attempt)

in an interview he said:

The quote I relish most is Gene Wolfe's, used on the
hardback edition of Fly here in the States: 'Great
writing doesn't consist of doing something better than
anyone else can do it, but of doing something no one
else can do at all.'=20

anybody have any comment/recommendations? thanks in
advance
