This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

This is why I said it was full of Derridean play. It doesn't have to
be intended by the author, only visible to the reader. While I have
a lot of reservations about a lot of pomo-ism, and do have some respect
for "what the author meant," I am fundamentally in agreement with the
pomo concept that, once the work is published, it is out of the artist's
hands and its "meaning" is what is generated in the space where it=20
encounters a reader's mind, whether this is what the author intended
or no.
