Borski notice picking up

Michael Andre-Driussi · 16 Apr 2002, 01:08 · from urth-v0204.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I don't recall if this has been noted already or not, but our own Robert
Borski is mentioned by name in the David Hartwell intro to Gene Wolfe's
"The Walking Sticks" in David Hartwell's YEAR'S BEST FANTASY (published
July 2001).

"Writer Robert Borski recently published an essay on the thesis that Wolfe
often puts a wolf into his fiction, thus inviting the reader to 'find the
wolf.'"

Well allll right!

Kudos to Robert Borski! That's like being mentioned in the dispatches, or
so it seems to me.
