[OT]: MY LITTLE BLUE DRESS by Bruno Maddox

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Another plug, for another non-sf book. This one plays Wolfe-like games with
a thoroughly unreliable narrator, but more accessibly than Wolfe. In one
sense it could be said to go beyond Wolfe: in addition to the ostensible
story and the story of what really happened, there's a third "story" that
you're cued to reconstruct about halfway through. And it's funny too.
(Maddox once edited SPY magazine, but don't hold it against him.)
