What Abos?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

This is an interesting bit of info, but it can't be literally true that
Victor is one of the Shadow Children: he refers to his mother as one of the
Free People (p. 240, Ace pb), whom he regards as distinct from the Shadow
Children, and he obviously looks nothing like the Shadow Children of "A
Story."

In any case, this interview was conducted twenty-six years after the story
was written, so I wouldn't take it as conclusive, no matter how it's
interpreted.
