Operation Ares: any copies still around? and PEACE cover

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Speaking of errors, there's quite a one on the rear
jacket flap of the 1975 Harper & Row hardcover edition
of _Peace_:  it says that _Peace_ is Wolfe's first
novel.

As for the Orb edition, I'd guess that perhaps Tony
Roberts did the cover design, and that the credit,
rather than the name, is what's wrong.  I don't think
that there can be any doubt that Gahan Wilson did the
art.
