This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

These posts are fascinating ... I don't know if I "agree" with the
overall interpretation, but it makes a good pile o' sense.

One quibble:

While I have no doubt that such a tradition exists, I can find no=20
trace of it, and it certainly isn't "Biblical" as I understand the=20
word -- full-text searches on both a King James and an NIV produced=20
no trace of this. In fact, it's actually kind of a classic "stump=20
the Bible expert" question to ask where Cain's wife came from,=20
since the Bible doesn't say anything about it.

I wonder if maybe this is a tradition from Kaballah or Talmud?
