This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Yeah ... allowing for my (intentionally) looking at things through
spectacles of moral theology, that was more or less where I was
going, but without going into the technical details -- mostly on=20
the assumption that many folks here _don't_ read the same popsci=20
as me and it's too early in the morning to explain evolutionarily
stable strategies, mixed strategies, and all the rest. 8*|

Well, genetics and evolutionary bio have been part of the=20
background of Wolfe's writing at least as far back as 5HC, so=20
I'd guess he keeps up on the stuff as part of his "job" as an
SF writer.
