This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. I've come across this stated in the archives before; is the source an
extra-textual Wolfe interview or the like?  The reason I ask is because it =
seems
odd that in a whole different cycle of creation you'd still get the Apollo =
moon
landing whose picture is recognizable as such.  And as someone else mention=
ed,
how would Severian's box with BOTNS make it through the singularity?

That aside, what's going on with that window into the 20th c. in the botani=
cal
gardens?
