Thoughts on Undines, and other ramblings

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Even if your assignations are true, why is it a given that Typhon bears an
*alien* name (presuming "alien" means a non-human species). Why could GW
have not assigned mythological names to beings on Urth who are from other
planets, and mythological monster names for other-worldly invaders of Urth?
Of course, if yours or this alternate nomenclature is a true Rosetta Stone,
then Nessus should be an alien being.

Actually, I'm unaware of any reason not presume all the beings (regardless
of power) are not either humans who have extended their physical form and
power through technology OR are whose existence, like the Hieros, is the
result of human activity (ala "Tracking Song").

Can you elaborate on why even beings such as Erebus and Skylla could not be
human?
