Horn in Babbie

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Some may not agree with the idea that Horn fled into Babbie, but if Marc =
=3D
is right and it did happen, it explains one question I had about the very =
=3D
end of the books: Why doesn't Babbie go with Silk, Seawrack, and the =3D
others when they leave Blue? At first I didn't understand this omission, =
=3D
but if Babbie does indeed contain Horn, then conceivably he wanted to stay =
=3D
and watch over his children remaining on Blue. That still leaves Nettle =
=3D
though. Why in the whorl did she go along with Silk (who isn't her =3D
husband) and his girlfriend? To find Horn, who she believes might still =
=3D
be wandering the Whorl or Green? Kind of tragic . . .
